About the Symposium

The Donate Life Symposium is an education event hosted by LifeSource to share information and inspiration about organ, eye and tissue donation with the healthcare community. The Symposium is held every other year in the Twin Cities and attracts hundreds of healthcare and end-of-life professionals from the Upper Midwest.

In 2019:

• More than 750 nurses, physicians, chaplains, funeral directors and medical examiners joined us for this unique learning experience.
• Over thirty speakers shared their time and insight at two general sessions and ten breakout sessions.
• In support of improving patient care, this activity was planned and implemented by University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education and LifeSource. This activity was approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
• A variety of exhibitors and transplant centers were available to attendees.
